Top Tips for Making Skewers

Soak the skewers in water for about 20 minutes this will reduce burning if using wooden skewers.

Marinate for 90 minutes to add infused flavour.

To chard edges keep flipping the skewers whilst grilling
1Ib Fresh King Prawn peeled and deveined
½ bottle Jerk Pineapple Ketchup
2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive oil or Avocado Oil for oiling the grill grates
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
450g (2 cups) fresh pineapple
1 ( 114g) yellow pepper, sliced into 1-inch wedges
1 ( 114g) red pepper, sliced into 1-inch wedges
1 ( 114g) green pepper, sliced into 1-inch wedges
1 (150g) red onion, peeled and sliced into 1-inch chunks

Preparation

Place the King Prawn in a bowl, and stir in our signature Jerk Black Garlic Ketcup.

Transfer the prawns to an airtight container and allow them to marinate for 90 minutes before cooking in the fridge to add flavour. Also, there is the option to marinate overnight for a more flavourful result.

Preheat the Grill to medium-high heat. Brush the grill with oil to prevent sticking.

Assemble the Skewer marinated prawns, red pepper, green pepper, more prawn, pineapple and more peppers.

Place the skewers on the preheated grill and cook for approximately 2-3 minutes on either side until the prawn is pink and the pineapple is slightly charred.
